Local – Three people have been arrested, including one former White County Detention Center Officer, on drug charges following a joint investigation, according to a news release from the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office.

The news release stated, a joint investigation by the Cleveland Police Department, The White County Sheriff’s Office, the Georgia Department of Community Supervision (DCS), and the (ARDEO) led authorities to the area of Duke’s Creek Cabins, where multiple cabins were searched. A search warrant was also secured for 42 Daytona Place in Sautee Nacoochee.

During the investigation, approximately 40 grams of Methamphetamine was seized along with a quantity of “high grade” marijuana, with an estimated street value of the narcotics being approximately $4,430, according to the email release.

  

 

 

 

 

Those individuals arrested were: Conor Christopher Dimick, age 26, of Marietta, GA. Charged with violation of Parole, and an outstanding warrant for forgery. Alan Richard Smith, age 41, of Villa Rica, charged with trafficking methamphetamine, and former detention center officer, 27-year-old Kimber La’Ran Clark, of Cleveland, charged with possession of methamphetamine.

All defendants were transported to the White County Sheriff’s Office, and additional charges are pending for all arrestees, according to the release.
