We met the govener once when he was at a bookstore in Blue Ridge or Blairsville autographing a book he had written. He was very nice to everyone there and to us “little people” also. RIP dear servant of God and your community. We will miss you.
He was good friends with my Pawpaw Tom Scoggins. I remember when I was little him visiting in the 70’s. Later on in life I would see himm from time to time. Just a good man.
