(Cleveland)- Great news for motorist traveling Webster lake road, the White County Board of Commissioners have approved a contract that will provide for repaving of a section of that road.  The contract, with Allied Paving, not only calls for repaving of the road, but  making improvements to the bridge approaches.

White County Commission Chairman Travis Turner says this is a heavily  traveled road, “ we’re all starting to see a larger amount of traffic, people shooting over to  365 from Duncan Bridge Road and they are using  Webster Lake Road as kinda of a cut through, so it behooves  us to try to provide a sound foundation for people to be able to travel on,”  commented Turner.

County Manager Mike Melton said during this weeks commission meeting that the resurfacing work begins at Highway 254 and goes 100 feet past the Webster Lake bridge.  The county will use both state and local funds to complete this project.

No start date was given for the project.
