(Cleveland)- This Saturday, at the Roy Ash Community Room behind the United Community Bank on East Jarrard Street in Cleveland the White County Republican Party will hold a mass meeting and county convention. The purpose of the mass meeting which begins at 9:00 AM is to select delegates and alternates for the county convention to follow at 10:00 AM.
Each precinct in White County will have an opportunity to nominate delegates and alternates. The county convention will take place at 10 AM. The purpose of the county convention is to select delegates and alternates to the 9th district and state republican conventions as well as to conduct other official business.
There is a $10 entrance fee to cover the cost of the convention. Party officials remind those wishing to attend you must be in the building before 9:00 AM for the mass meeting and before 10 AM for the county convention.
