(Cleveland)- Qualifying is underway for the special election for Mayor in the City of Cleveland. Prospective candidates may make their intentions know between 8:30 AM and 1 PM and 2 to 4:30 PM, today through Wednesday at City Hall on South Main Street.
Josh Turner surrounded by family members paid his qualify fee this morning to become the first candidate to seek the office.
The election was called by the city council following the resignation of Mayor Shan Ash.
The election will be held on March 24th at Cleveland First Baptist Church.
The qualifying fee for the position is $138.
