(Cleveland)- The special lookout by the White County Sheriff’s office for a White County man who had several active warrants against him has paid off. White County Sheriff Neal Walden said, 26- year old Corey Franklin Cantrell was taken into custody late Wednesday morning at a cabin in Habersham County.
Walden said they expect to charge Cantrell with several area burglaries. According to the sheriff, he was taken into custody without incident by White and Habersham County law enforcement officers.
A special public lookout for Cantrell was issued Tuesday afternoon to local media and Sheriff Walden said they received information that led them directly to him.
Walden said he would like to thank all those who provided information in making this arrest.
The extent of the charges against Cantrell is still being evaluated by investigators working on the case.
