(Cleveland)- All power service has been restored and a section of Duncan Bridge Road in White County has been opened following the Saturday morning storm that hit White and other surrounding counties.
The storm blew down several trees and powers lines including power poles in the Leaf area of the county as well as other section. Habersham Electric spokeswoman Nicole Dover advised that power restoration efforts were completed at 3:35 AM Sunday. Dover said HEMC thanks everyone for their patience following the storm.
Even though the power is back on and the road is back open there is still lots of work to be done to clean up the downed trees and repair the damaged buildings. The good news no one was injured as a result of what is believed to be some straight-line winds embedded in a line of thunderstorms that hit around 7:30 AM.
