(Cleveland)- A 30 year old Cleveland man was injured Thursday night when he was struck by a vehicle on West Kytle Street in Cleveland.  Police, fire and medical personnel were dispatch around 10:30 PM.  Cleveland Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt said when they arrived on scene they found a male patient on the side of the roadway. 

Cleveland Police Chief John Foster advised that the driver of a pickup truck, 21-year old Jeb Stovall of Cleveland was traveling west on Kytle Street when the mirror of his truck struck the pedestrian.   Foster identified the victim as 30 year old Joshua Klyce of Cleveland.  Chief Foster said Klyce was walking in the same direction of the traffic flow wearing dark color clothing when he was hit. 

Klyce was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center  by White County Emergency Medical Service ambulance.  

Forster  advised that the driver of the pickup truck stopped his vehicle after hitting the pedestrian and stayed with him until officials arrived on scene. 

The accident is still under investigation by the Cleveland Police Department.
