Mrs. Hattie Miller, age 89, of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017.
Mrs. Miller was born in Murphy, North Carolina, to the late William and Edith Rose Garrett. During her career, she worked for Burlington and was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph Howard Miller; daughter, Judith “Judy” Ramey, 4 brothers and a sister.
Survivors include son, Kenneth Miller, Cleveland; grandchildren, Stacy Ramey, Sonja and Wyatt Hall, and Chanda and Bobby Collins, all from Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Asheton Collins, Cleveland, Dawson and Kerrigan Collins, Cleveland; son-in-law, Wayne Ramey, Cleveland; and sister, Margie Helton, Dahlonega.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from The Chapel at Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Phillip Robinson, Rev. Doris Winkler, and Rev. Marty Garrett will officiate. Interment will follow in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 Noon-8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
