Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr.
Robert Kenneth Damron, age 83 of Cleveland. Mr. Damron passed
away Tuesday, December 15, 2015. Mr. Damron was born in
MOrgantown, West Virginia on August 2, 1932 to the late Ernest
Damron and Agnes Cunningham Damron. He served with honor
in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He moved
to White County where he and his family owned and operated
Damron’s Glass and Gifts in Helen. He is preceded in death by his
wife, Frances Damron.
Survivors include his daughters, Tina Bryan (Terry) of Cleveland,
Brenda Barnes of Helen; sons, Gary Damron (Sherry) of Sautee
and Bobby Damron (Kim) of Helen. He is also survived by his 11
grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. It was Mr. Damron’s
request that he be cremated and that no public services be held.
