Clifford Fain Jr. age 54 of Sautee passed away Sunday December 13, 2015.
Mr. Fain was born in Gainesville, Georgia and lived in White County all of his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Fain Sr. grandparents, John and Lena Fain and Arch and Julia Seabolt. Mr. Fain loved his country and completed two combat tours in Kuwait and Afghanistan and was a 28 year Veteran in the Army National Guard where he was a First Sergeant. He was also a Bronze Star medal recipient and a member of Center Baptist Church.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. Mr. Fain was a former self employed logger and an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Most of all he enjoyed being a grandfather.
Survivors include his wife, Lynn Fain, Sautee; daughter and son in law, Alyson and Kevin Bullock, Sautee; daughter, Hannah Fain, Sautee; mother, Hilda Fain, Helen; brothers and sisters in law, Earl and Phyllis Fain, Cleveland, Jeff and Deborah Fain, Cornelia; sister, Loretta Fain, Helen; sister and brother in law, Julie and Robbie Brittain, Helen; grandsons, Jacob Bullock, James Bullock; granddaughters, Emmalyn Bullock, Paisley Fain.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday December 16, 2015 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Wilkes and the Rev. Wayne Turk will officiate. Interment will be in the Lawrence Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
