(Cleveland)- Most of the  fiber internet customers affected by the major outage of  service affecting North Georgia Network ( NGN) and Trailwave internet service have had their service restored.

Cleveland Police and City Hall were among the customers that had to deal with the problem including the lose of their phone service, because it VOIP system.   Both agencies have not got their service back up and running. 

Prior to the restoration  Police Chief John Foster asked citizens to use a special cell phone number set up to contact them. 

White County Government  offices experienced issues Tuesday  but their service has been restored.  

Meanwhile.. Nicole  Dover spokesperson with Habersham Electric which offers Trailwave Internet service said just before noon that Service has been restored to the majority of Trailwave subscribers, however some in the Cleveland area continue to have intermittent issues.  She said we are working to resolve all issues.
