(Clarkesville)- A large number of Internet customers served by North Georgia Network (NGN ) and Trailwaves Internet service have had their service interrupted by a major outage in northeast Georgia. The outage began late Monday afternoon and as of late Tuesday the service was still out.
Nicole Dover, Director of strategy and commutations for Habersham Electric Membership Corporation which offers Trailwaves fiber internet service released the following statement Tuesday afternoon, “ We are aware of the outage and are working to resolve it as fast as possible. We pride ourselves on our 99.999 percent reliability and if this isn’t meeting our highest expectations, we know it isn’t meeting your expectations.”
She said, ” We will get it fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.”
