(Cleveland)- White County has selected an Interim Finance Director. County Manager Michael Melton, in a news release Tuesday announced the appointment of Ms. Jodi Ligon who will assume the position on November 20th.
Ligon currently serves as an Accounting Coordinator for the county, a role she has held for almost four years. Prior to being hired by White County in 2014, she worked for the Lumpkin County Finance Department for nine years.
Melton said, “We are extremely pleased to announce the promotion of Jodi Ligon and look forward to her continued contributions to our organization.”
Ligon’s promotion is a result of the forthcoming retirement announced by current Finance Director Vicki Mays, that is effective in mid-November.
