(Cleveland)- A late night fire  on Goat Neck Road in White County damaged some  building Wednesday night.  White County Public Safety Director David Murphy, in an email said, the call was received around 10 PM.

White County firefighters with Automatic Aid from the City of Cleveland, responded to a reported residential fire at 1266 Goat Neck Road

The caller advised dispatch that the building was fully involved.  Murphy reported that the first arriving units found a 1200 square foot workshop type building fully engulfed in flames with fire extending to a pump house, a green house, and about ¾ of an acre of grass.

Although there were 15 MPH winds, Murphy said  firefighters had a quick knock down on the fires using water and firefighting foam, to minimize the damage to the contents of the workshop and for quicker extinguishment.  Firefighters remained on scene until 1AM Thursday morning with a single fire unit returning around 2:30AM to check for any rekindles.

The home owners were at home at the time of the fire; no injuries were reported.

Murphy advised that the State Fire Investigator will try to determine the cause of the fire, however; it is deemed not suspicious at this time.
