David Haynes of Lula was the winner of the $500 grand prize

(Mt. Airy)- More than 1,100 members and visitors participated in the Habersham EMC Annual Meeting activities Thursday, at Habersham Ninth
Grade Academy. During the business session, David Wall, Dustin Hulsey and Dan Thurmond were elected to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors. Brad Hicks, President/CEO, gave an update on the co-op.
Many door prizes were given away including the grand prize of $500 cash.
That was won by David Haynes of Lula. The Board of Directors met immediately following the annual meeting of the members and elected the following officers for the upcoming year:
Jeff Ferguson, Chairman
David Wall, Vice-Chairman
Billy Cantrell, Secretary-Treasurer
