(Cleveland)- The heavy rain has moved out of our area the Flash Flood Watch issued earlier by the National Weather Service expired at eight this morning. During the past four days we have received quit a bit of rainfall especially Thursday night and early Friday morning.
This week we have received an average of 4.46 inches of rain. That rainfall has added to our rainfall surplus which now stands at 23.97 inches.
4-DAY RAINFALL TOTALS (From 7 AM 30 July to 7 AM 3 August):
CLEVELAND (WRWH)———- 4.36”
HELEN (USGS/BRIDGE)——- 3.90”
SAUTEE (SAUTEE WX STN)—- 5.12”

In White County this morning, the YEAR-TO-DATE RAINFALL TOTAL
is 62.87 inches /NORMAL: 38.90 inches. DEPARTURE: +23.97 inches (SURPLUS).
There were no reports of any flooding conditions during the past four days.
