(Cleveland)- Hannah Jones, a Mountain Education Charter High School student, is the first Senate Bill 2 graduate from White County and one of only four in the state of Georgia. Senate Bill 2 provide that a student who completes certain requirements relating to post-secondary coursework may be awarded a high school diploma.
Dr. Theresa Anderson counselor at Mountain Education Center in Cleveland said,. Hannah received her Criminal Justice Diploma from North Georgia Technical College and her High School diploma from Mountain Education Charter High School. The formal graduation was held May 24th, at which time she was awarded both diplomas.
Hannah met all course requirements and has taken all required tests to receive both diplomas.
I am so very HAPPY for Hannah!!!!!!
