(Cleveland)- The Cleveland Police Department has seen a very busy first few days of July. Cleveland Police Chief John Foster released information Thursday about the activities. 

After noticing an increase in call volume the last few months  Major Aaron Weiland with the department documented the activities for the first  10 days of this month.  

According to Weiland during that period they received 46 reports.  Fourteen of those cases were cleared either by an arrest, warrants or charges taken on 17 offenders. 

The department had two burglaries, numerous drug related charges, one theft by receiving stolen property,  2 theft by taking, five shoplifting,  2 obstruction, 1 public drunk and one violation of family violence order. 

 Weiland said the department cleared arrest warrants for other agencies as well plus recovered a stolen 2017 Audi Q7 for Marietta Police Department.

 They did all that while continuing to investigate previous cases.
