(Cleveland  10/13/2014) – Early voting for the November 4th general election gets underway this week, but the voting process is a little complicated.  First city residents who want to vote in the alcohol referendum can cast a ballot in that process starting today (Monday), Registered voters in the City of Cleveland can vote in the special referendum on liquor by the drink and Sunday alcohol sales.  You must go to city hall to cast a ballot during early voting.  Voting will take place 8AM- 5:00 PM  Monday- Friday through October 31st.   

All registered county and city residents will vote on state and area candidate and issues in the General Election  at the Voter Registrar’s office, but you will have to wait until Tuesday, because county offices are closed for Columbus Day.  Voting for the early election will run through Friday October 31st at the  registrar’s office located in the Mauney Building on the Helen Highway, from 8 AM until 5 PM Monday – Friday.  A special Saturday voting will be held October 25th.
