State – Early, in-person voting began on Monday in Georgia and over the next several weeks, voters can cast ballots at voting sites in all 159 counties. The turnout in these early days could decide who wins Georgia’s governor’s mansion.
An Atlanta Journal-Constitution/Channel 2 Action News poll released last week shows a dead heat in the governor’s race. Political observers say party faithful are committed to their candidates – Democrats for Stacey Abrams, Republicans for Brian Kemp.
White County voters can cast their ballot for the November 6th election at the Mauney Building, located at 1241 Helen Hwy in Cleveland, October 15th through the 19th, and October 22nd through the 26th from 8 am until 5 pm, and October 29 through November 2nd from 8 am until 5 pm. The only Saturday early voting will be available is October 27th from 9 am until 4 pm.
Surrounding counties are listed below and other counties are listed on the Secretary of State website at elections.sos.ga.gov.
