David Reneau, age 54, of Cleveland, GA passed away on April 14, 2016 after a long battle with diabetes.

David grew up in Mesquite, TX where he found his wife of 29 years, Susan.  They moved to Georgia to settle down and raise their 4 children; James, Lisa, Andrea, and Sarah.  David worked as an Environmental Driller for 16 years with co-workers whom he loved and became family with.  David loved fishing, spending time with family and joking with everyone.  His laugh and smile always lit up a room.  David will be greatly missed and remembered, for he was very loved.

David is preceded in death by his father, John Henry Reneau; and brother, Johnny Henry Reneau, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Reneau; son, James Thomas; daughters; Lisa Thomas, Andrea Reneau, and Sarah Reneau all of Cleveland, GA; mother, Guadalupe Reneau; brother, Billy Joe Reneau, Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Jonathan Thomas, Winter Thomas, Jo-Jo Tucker, Layla Thomas, Jacob Joe, Scarlett Joe, Blayden Thomas, and Emily Watkins; brothers-in-law, William Watkins and Dean Moss, both of Cleveland, GA, Numerous other relative also survive.

Graveside services for David are scheduled for 4 PM Monday, April 18, 2016 at Dahlonega Memorial Park.

Grady Blackwell and Rev. Michael Franks will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Sunday, April 17, 2016 from 6 PM to 9 PM.
