(Cleveland)- A Dahlonega woman is killed when her car broke in half in half in a three-car accident in White County.  The Georgia State Patrol says for an unknown reason, Margie Milum lost control of her car on State Route 115, overcorrected and collided with two other cars. 

Investigators said the crash happened around 2:00 PM Monday at the intersection of Town Creek Road. The GSP said  Milum went off the edge of the road, overcorrected and crossed the centerline and hit another car. Her car was hit by a third vehicle. 

They said they are not sure why, but her car broke in half. 

The other driver was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Vehicle #3: 2016 Dodge Journey

Driver#3: 43 year old Lawanda Thurmond of Mount Airy, GA – Transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center by White County EMS with non-life threatening injuries.

Passenger in vehicle #3: Juvenile also transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center by White County EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
