(Helen)- As part of his continuing education and training in the administration of law enforcement, Helen Police Chief Jim Couch recently attended the 2014 Annual Summer Training conference sponsored by the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police.
The Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police is responsible for the delivery of training to the chiefs of Georgia’s police departments and law enforcement agencies. This year’s conference, held in Savannah, covered a variety of topics.
Chief Couch, was among more than 548 heads of law enforcement agencies attending the Training Conference.
Chief David Lyons of the Garden City Police Department, President of the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police, stated that “this annual conference provides police chiefs with the opportunity to learn from highly qualified and experienced instructors who are experts in the field of law enforcement management.”
