(Cleveland)- Northeast Georgians are trying to deal with the coldest temperatures of this season.  After high winds Sunday that made for a challenging day Monday  the winds are down but so are the temperatures. 

Most areas of northeast Georgia  woke up to temperatures in the teens.  The coldest was Suches with 12 degrees, it was 13 in Blairsville and Blue Ridge. Other temperatures 16 degrees here at WRWH, 18 at Sautee, 19 Three Sisters Vineyards and 20 in Helen.

WRWH Weather Reporter Bill Kinsland says the cold temperatures this morning were nowhere near the coldest temperature ever recorded in White County, which was on this date in 1985, that’s when the temperature recorded by Helen Police Department was  12 DEGREES BELOW ZERO!
