(Cleveland)- The Cleveland Fire Department had a 28 percent increase in their activities  during the month of January, compared to one year ago. 

Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt told the Cleveland City Council this week that the department had a total of 92 calls during January, with 49 of those in the city and 43 in the county.  The total includes 39 medical calls, 22 public assist, 9 auto accidents and one each structure, car and woods/ brush fires.
