(Cleveland)- The City of Cleveland Council will be meeting tonight (Monday) and are expected to give approval to amendments to the city’s Alcohol Ordinance to address requirements and fees associated with the sale of distilled spirits by the drink, distilled sprits, beer and wine by the drink on Sunday and beer and wine packaged sales on Sunday.
The ordinance change follows the approval by the city voters for Sunday Alcohol and Distilled Spirits sales in November.
The city council is also expected to approved changes to the city’s Sign Ordinance that will address the distance between billboards, and setbacks from the right-of-way and other billboard regulations. These changes were prompted by the request by a billboard company to place five digital billboards in the city.
The Council meeting begins at 7:00 PM at City Hall Annex just south of the square in Cleveland.
