Commissioners Explore User Fees For Freedom Park

Fire Destroys Logan’s Ridge Road Home

White County Unemployment Rate 7.3 Percent

(Atlanta)- New unemployment figures released Thursday  by the Georgia Department of Labor puts White County’s Unemployment rate for August at  7.3 percent.  That is down one tenth of one percent from the revised 7.4 percent rate in July.  The labor department said in August White County’s labor force was 13,549, of those 12,565 were employed and  984 were unemployed.
