Brandon Nonnemaker-White County Teacher of The Year
(Cleveland)- Brandon Nonnemaker has been selected as the system teacher of the year for White County School System. The announcement was made during Thursday nights White County Board of Education meeting.
Nonnemaker was selected as the teacher of the year at Mount Yonah Elementary School and now will represent the school system as well. The 33- year old is a music teacher at MYES. Other teachers of the year for each of the schools were also recognized; Katie Defore, Jack P. Nix Elementary; Debbie Pruitt, Mossy Creek Elementary; Kelley Kostulakos, Tesnatee Gap Elementary; Meg Dickerson White County Middle School and Amanda Keener, White County High School.
Also recognized during the meeting was system bus driver of the year, James Murnane, at Jack P. Nix Elementary School and Libby Oliver, from Jack P. Nix Elementary, as system employee of the year.
