The Boil Water Advisory issued earlier this week by the White County Water has been lifted . White County Water Authority Director Edwin Nix advised Thursday afternoon that test results were all good and apologize for any inconveniences to or customers but it is our responsibility to make sure that all water we provide is safe to drink.
The White County Water Authority issued the advisory on Monday for customers who live in subdivisions that use a pump station. Nix identified those as Logans Ridge, Springcrest, Rose Road and Highland Forest. Nix said, t
he loss of pressure due to power outages at our booster pump stations was the reason for the Boil water advisory.
