Cleveland)-The Boil Water Notice issued by the city of Cleveland on Friday has been lifted. The notice was issued following a  six-inch water main break and affected water customers on White Street, Old Blairsville Road, Kenimer Street and the north end of Wilford Ash Parkway.

To make proper repairs, the City Public Works Department had to shut off the water supply to those customers.

The notice is required by the EPD to insure the safety of the drinking water to the city’s customers in the event of the possibility of a contaminant entering the system.

The city received word Saturday from EPD that all tests are clear and the notice has been lifted.
