(Cleveland)- A first-grade teacher at Mossy Creek Elementary School has been selected as the 2017 White County “System Teacher of the Year”. Bethann Rogers Fain was surprised with the honor at the start of the White County Board of Education meeting Thursday.
Fain is a 2007 graduate of White County Schools. She was selected earlier as the teacher of the year at Mossy Creek.
Other school teachers of the year recognized were: Nancy Nelson, at Jack P. Nix; Shelly McDonald, Mt. Yonah; Susann Gresham, T-Gap; Audrey Cochran, Middle School: Yarixa Oakes, 9th Grade Academy, and Nancy Dockery White County High School.
Also, Tim Kinsey was recognized as system bus driver of the year and Nancy Dorsey, at the 9th-grade academy, as system employee of the year.
