[gm album=40] (Cleveland)- Barrett Funeral Home in Cleveland has been recognized by the White County Chamber of Commerce as “Business of the Year”. The award was presented Wednesday during the chambers annual meeting luncheon. The event was held at Babyland General Hospital Crystal Ballroom.
The business of the year award is presented to a deserving Chamber Investor that shows an established reputation for overall company service, a commitment to ethical business practices, and contributes to the quality of life in White County. Barrett Funeral Home has been in business here since May of 1976.
The ” Entrepreneur of the Year” award, presented to an entrepreneur who has been in business for a minimum of three years, has developed their business to meet changing community and consumer demands, has conducted his/her business and personal relationships with the highest integrity, has increased employment opportunities in the community and most of all represents today’s entrepreneurial spirit.
This year’s winner is Rance Reece with Huddle House of Cleveland. Huddle House under the leadership of Rance has been serving the citizens and guests to White County since 2004. In 2016 the Cleveland Huddle House was selected as the Best Huddle House in the Nation.
The chambers 2019 ” Volunteer of the Year ” award went to Donna Clark with United Community Bank. Donna is very dedicated, reliable and is always willing to help in anyway that she can. Her spirit of caring includes serving the community through county-wide organizations like the Chamber, United Way and Relay for Life.
