(Cleveland)- Two White County Rotary Club members have been recognized for their ethical practices and for demonstration of  excellence in his or her vocation and community service.

During this weeks Rotary Club meeting Rotarian Susan Baker was awarded the clubs W. Lee Areendale Vocational Excellence Award and Superior Court Judge Raymond George received the Robert S. Stubbs Guardian of Ethics award.

Baker, a lifelong resident of White County and employed at Habersham Electric Membership Corporation for 24 years in marketing and Member Services  was also recently honored with the 2014 Touchtone Energy Brand Champion award, one on 11 across the US to receive the award, she is involved in many Rotary projects, serves on the Habersham Medical Center foundation board, White County Intermediate School Council, White County Chamber of Commerce, is a Sunday School teacher and sings in the church choir.  

George has served as Assistant Solicitor General in State Court of Hall County, Assistant District Attorney Hall County, had private law practice concentrating in criminal defense and domestic relations, has taught Political Science at North Georgia College, and was appointed  as Superior Court Judge for the Enotah Judicial Circuit in 2012.  

Both Rotarians will be nominated for the Rotary district award in their category.
