(Cleveland)- Taking a look back at the week’s snowstorm in northeast Georgia, White County Public Safety Director David Murphy reports the county responded well to the winter weather.
Murphy in an email said, we were not surprised by the event, and had prepared for the worst-case scenario. We had a briefing with all personnel at 4 PM Saturday in the Emergency Operation Center to finalize planning.
According to Murphy power outages were at a minimum in the county during the peak of the event, other than that no major incidents occurred.
