(Cleveland)- The Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office (ARDEO) acting on citizens’ complaints of illegal narcotic activity in Habersham County have arrested four people.  In an email release Special Agent in Charge of the Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office said,   Habersham County authorities received complaints that illegal narcotics  was located at 616 Cliff C Kimsey Drive, Cornelia,  and 407 Fisk Avenue, Demorest.  According to the news release, Habersham County Sheriff’s Office, the Cornelia Police Department and ARDEO investigated the citizens’ complaints at the Cliff C Kimsey Drive residence and arrested  32-year old Buffy Hubbard,  and  24-year old Sterling Strength,  for possession of methamphetamine and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana after both illegal narcotics were found at the residence.

At the Fisk Avenue residence,  Marijuana and methamphetamine was also located at this residence.  34-year old Douglas Waylon Davis,  was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and  26- year old Joshua Daniel Carrol,  was charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Posey said,  Carrol also had numerous other outstanding Habersham County felony warrants.

Hubbard, Strength, Davis, and Carrol were transported to the Habersham County Detention Center.

The Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office is a multi-agency unit that consists of the following Sheriff’s Offices: White County, Lumpkin County, Towns County, Banks County, Habersham County, Stephens County, and Rabun County, along with the Georgia National Guard Counter Drug Task Force, the Department of Public Safety, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
